    Day 2Buenos Aires Buenos Aires, Argentina - Tour Begins : Begin in the sophisticated city of Buenos Aires. European architecture, wide boulevards and charming sidewalk cafes have earned it the moniker "the Paris of South America." After a short lesson in the local language, embark on a city tour including Recoleta Cemetery, where the tomb of Eva Peron is located; the colorful La Boca neighborhood; and the Presidential Palace, the Casa Rosada. This evening, enjoy a special welcome reception and dinner.

    Day 3Buenos Aires Buenos Aires : Today, independently discover the charms of Buenos Aires. You may choose an optional excursion across the famous Pampas to experience the culture and lifestyle of Argentina's gauchos or relax and soak in the city's cultural delights at your leisure.

    Day 4San Carlos de Bariloche Buenos Aires - San Carlos de Bariloche : Fly south to San Carlos de Bariloche, reminiscent of an Alpine village. Glacial blue Lago Nahuel Huapi laps at its shores and the snow-covered Andes mountains dominate the horizon. Indulge in the city's famously decadent chocolate during a visit to a local chocolate factory.

    Day 5San Carlos de Bariloche San Carlos de Bariloche : Explore Bariloche on your own - stroll along the scenic lake path, browse the many handicraft shops, or perhaps set out on an optional Circuito Chico Tour of Bariloche and take in the panoramic mountain vistas.

    Day 6Puerto Varas Bariloche - Puerto Varas, Chile : The legendary Lake Crossing awaits! The breathtaking beauty of the southern Andes unfolds as you travel from Argentina to Chile via a series of lake cruises and a drive through South America's first national park. Marvel at the mountain peaks, cascading waterfalls and indigo-colored lakes. End your day in the lakeside village of Puerto Varas, known for its seafood and German cuisine. Enjoy panoramic views of Osorno Volcano from your elegant mountain resort overlooking Lake Llanquihue.

    Day 7Puerto Natales Puerto Varas - Punta Arenas - Puerto Natales : Travel to Punta Arenas, on Chile's Strait of Magellan, once a stop for ships rounding Cape Horn. Enjoy a panoramic tour and visit a fascinating museum highlighting the region's history. Delight in a visit to the Seno Otway penguin colony for up-close views of the Magellanic penguins before journeying through the Patagonian wilderness to Puerto Natales, gateway to Torres del Paine National Park and some of the world's most incredible scenery.

    Day 8Puerto Natales Torres del Paine National Park - Puerto Natales : At Milodon Cave, view the encased figure of a milodon, a mysterious prehistoric animal believed to have once lived in this area. Travel to majestic Torres del Paine National Park. Drive along the banks of lakes Figueroa and Sarmiento. Take in views of the snowcapped mountain peaks, crystal-clear rivers and mirrored lakes during a picnic lunch.

    Day 9El Calafate Puerto Natales - El Calafate, Argentina : Travel through the heart of Patagonia, returning to Argentina as you approach El Calafate. Tonight you'll be a guest at the historic 25 de Mayo ranch, a Patagonian estancia offering first-class traditional hospitality. Learn about gaucho customs and culture, sip yerba mate tea around a fire, and visit the farmyards and sheep shearing shed for demonstrations. Enjoy a true taste of Argentina with an asado, a traditional meal of meats grilled over an open fire, plus produce from the organic garden as you enjoy gaucho music and dancing!

    Day 10El Calafate Lake Argentino - Perito Moreno Glacier - El Calafate : Wake to sweeping views of Lake Argentino from your lakeside hotel. Experience the Brazo Rico shoreline en route to the Perito Moreno Glacier, the only continually advancing glacier in the world. Admire breathtaking views during a walk along its base. Watch for chunks of ice breaking off and dramatically crashing into the lake! Explore El Calafate's village of rustic houses with sloping roofs that pierce the clear skies.

    Day 11Ushuaia El Calafate - Ushuaia : Depart El Calafate and journey to "the world's southern-most city," Ushuaia. Once an Argentine penal colony, it is now the capital of the province of Tierra del Fuego, the "Land of Fire." At your leisure, stroll the bustling city center, framed by a backdrop of mountains and sea. Tonight, a home-hosted dinner with a local Fuegon family provides the opportunity to learn about daily life at the "end of the world." Relax afterwards at your hotel overlooking the Beagle Channel.

    Day 12Ushuaia Ushuaia - Tierra del Fuego - Ushuaia : Today you explore the mountains, forests, glaciers and the deep valleys laced with rivers and lakes of Tierra del Fuego National Park. Walk the shores of Roca Lake and see evidence of the settlements of the now-extinct Yamana indigenous people. On your way to Lapataia Bay, where the Panamerican Highway ends, stop by the post office at the "end of the world." Then embark on a spectacular sightseeing cruise of the Beagle Channel, home to playful sea lions and cormorants. This evening, explore this famous port town and enjoy the local cuisine.

    Day 13Buenos Aires Ushuaia - Buenos Aires : Bid farewell to tranquil Patagonia and return to lively Buenos Aires. Spend the balance of the day at leisure. Browse the boutiques of Calle Florida or visit one of many renowned art museums. This evening, dine on Argentine fare and experience the passion and artistry of an authentic tango show! You will even have the chance to meet the dancers and try some steps of your own.
